MSI Automate is seeking highly motivated Account Executives across the US. MSI Automate Account Executives work with both existing and new clients in the pursuit of continued and new revenue generation. This includes penetrating new accounts as well as developing new opportunities in existing accounts. MSI Automate Account Executive positions are remote/virtual positions requiring a good amount of travel to client locations and meetings.

About Account Executive:

Leads are produced by our Business Development team that are qualified and turned over to Account Executives for engagement. Stepping a client through justification and requirements gathering of a project are critical elements that the Account Executive must be able to facilitate while engaging a cross-functional team of stakeholders both internally and externally.

Account Executive Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer sciences, business management, marketing, or finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical selling environment
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Account Executive Skills:

  • Drive: Being intrinsically motivated is a must. You won’t have people prodding you along to do the job and you must come to work motivated!
  • Humility: Being humble and understanding that everyone should be treated equally as a team member while also having a willingness to acknowledge failures and receiving, if not seeking, feedback for improvement
  • People Smarts: Being aware of the people around you (both internally and externally) and the dynamics of a situation while being able to manage that situation to an expected outcome is critical.
  • Communication (heavily weighed on LISTENING and observing) is key
  • Experience selling technology in a complex selling environment with multiple stakeholders
    Experience selling into ecommerce retail companies
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven aptitude for performing under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills

Account Executive Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with industrial automation technologies:
  • WMS, WCS, WES, TMS and LMS
  • Automated Storage Retrieval Systems
  • Palletization Systems
  • Robotics
  • Industrial control systems
  • Conveyor systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
